We are so happy with the SAMi. Our daughter started having focal seizures at age 2. We got the camera just after she turned 4 to watch her at night bc I was not getting any sleep. We are able to set the sensitivity settings pretty high so we can catch a focal seizure which isn’t as obvious as a tonic clonic. It catches her eye movements and slight twitches but we set it to 15 secs of activity before an alert so it’s not going off all night. We have not had a seizure since getting the camera but I am confident the camera would alert us if she opened her eyes for an extended period of time which is what she does with her focals.
