SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. During sleep, the SAMi camera's proprietary technology monitors for unusual or abnormal movement in the field of view. When abnormal movement is detected, an alarm sounds on the Apple device running the SAMi iOS app (iPhone / iPod / iPad / Mac) and displays a live video / audio feed. Within seconds, the individual or caregiver can take any necessary action. SAMi will not only reliably alert you to abnormal movement, but automatically records high quality video and audio of the event, providing invaluable video evidence for Neurologists, Epileptologists, and other Healthcare providers to accurately diagnose and prescribe effective treatment plans. “We have not works out all the kinks of settings that match our son and our sleep however, the very first night we used it, Sami caught a tonic clinic seizure and we were able to get to him to administer the emergency meds within 45,seconds. This was a life savor as he goes into status epilepticus frequently if not caught quickly. This was the best thing for us to have some peace of mind and get some much needed sleep!”

“Wonderful Technology im so thankful to have. Has allowed my son a bit of independence back since he was sleeping in my room ever since his epilepsy diagnosis. I love that I can check on him without having to disturb him by going in his room. Lots of settings so you can find the right threshold. Definitely recommend.”

“We had a SAMI camera for a while and it was great! Much more comfortable with our LO sleeping alone but monitored. When it failed (to reconnect to the network), I reached out and got a warranty replacement quickly and easily (after going through all of the troubleshooting steps)! Thanks again for the product, and your willingness to back it up!”

“Parent of a 20yo who has severe fragile X, and has started having seizures. He will not wear a band to alert us, he is non-verbal. This was the best solution for us (as parents) to be able to monitor him at night and still get some sleep. It does take a few attempts to get the settings right for motion and length, but once accomplished it has been very reliable.”

“We feel much safer at night having a SAMi camera monitor our son. We are finally getting some much needed rest. I love looking through the videos in the morning and knowing I can assess the content and send to the neurologist if needed. The picture is clear and although we are still learning how to adjust the settings and alerts, their customer service and troubleshooting guides are phenomenal.”

“SAMi is the best invention ever for parents who have a child/ren with epilepsy, especially nocturnal seizures. The peace of mind it gives is priceless. My son had his first seizure transitioning out of sleep at 5 years old. It was traumitizing and we developed a routine of co-sleeping for a couple of years until his neurologist recommended SAMi to us. We bought it and it simply has been a God send for our family. My son is now 10 and is able to be an independent sleeper again and we all get a good night's rest knowing he will never have a seizure without us hearing him and coming to comfort or rescue. In addition to it being a great device, the customer service is great! I had a technical issue and it was handled very promptly, even after hours which was impressive. I receiced a replacement in less than 1 week so I can tell this company really cares about families and not just out to make a profit. And the app has upgraded settings like recording scheduling and background noise cancellation so I dont have to listen to my son's lullabys all night long anymore! To anyone who is thinking about getting this, it is worth every penny! Its not a cure for epilepsy, but at least it offers a sense of security in knowing that if my son needed me in the middle of the night, I can rescue him because of this Camera. And for that, our family is grateful.”

“The SAMi has been an answer to our prayers. Our 7 month old daughter was recently diagnosed with a rare genetic mutation causing her to have epilepsy. Her specific form of epilepsy causes seizures to occur during the night or very early in the morning. I have feared that she will seize without me knowing while I sleep. The fear of SIDS became a fear of SUDEP and my sleep was almost nonexistent after her diagnosis. The SAMi has allowed me to rest knowing that if she moves abnormally in her sleep, I will be alerted to the movement. This is such an amazing device and captures and stores all of her movement that I can review it the next morning and share it with family members or her doctors. This is definitely worth the money and I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.”

“I never write reviews but this camera saved my daughter's life. She had a grand mal seizure while sleeping and was face down in her pillow. The alarm alerted me and I was able to get to her before she suffocated. We are very grateful to the people who invented this camera.”

“We have used many products in the past and by far this has been the best! Love that it is a all in one system. Love that it records and alerts. Once we set it up it gave relief that we would be alerted. We got more sleep knowing it could alert us.”
