My wife purchased a Samsung Smart TV as a replacement for a Samsung TV that died shortly after the warranty expired. The latest purchase was still within the warranty so we contacted Samsung Customer "Service". After a three week wait for a scheduled repair appointment my wife received a text cancelling the appointment with a subsequent refund to follow within 5 to 7 business days. After waiting two weeks for the refund to arrive we contacted Customer "Service" and were told the refund would be processed AFTER they picked the TV up. We had reservations about giving up possession of the TV without receiving the refund first. We were told this was the ONLY option available to us. Long story short, the TV was picked up this morning. The pickup order had an incorrect name on the bill of lading. We will see when/if the refund is received. Apparently, Samsung Customer "Service" is as reliable as their Products. As a side note, my two Sony HDTVs are still delivering quality pictures after 15 & 10yrs respectively
