I tried to purchase a Zfold 4 Sept 26 and selected to trade in my pixel 6 pro for $800 trade on value. Upon going to my cart the pixel 6 pro trade in still showed in the basket but with a $0 trade in value. I reached out to customer support chat and they told me to contact ecommerce team. I was instructed by the ecommerce team to use their link to check out with still showed $0. They said it was a technical error and to place the order anyway and the correct balance would show within 3buisness days. I purchased the phone and transfered everything to my new device and received and email today stating they will now not take my trade in because it's not on the order. I called support again today and after being hung up on and switched to another dept I was told there's nothing they can do to give me my trade in credit. That I need to return the device and order it again. Between yesterday and today they have dropped the pixel 6 pro for trade ins so basically I'm out of luck. This is so wrong that two employees told me to just order that they would be able to retroactively apply the credits just to be told by another they cannot and it cannot be escalated.
