I purchased a Samsung washing machine in October 2022. In December 2022 the spin basket came loose and was replaced under warranty. The spin basket came loose again in May 2023, still under warranty. I requested a replacement of the unit; Samsung explained that they would only replace the machine if it was not repairable. Two of Samsung's contracted warranty companies refused to work on it (the first no showed, the second simply cancelled the repair order). The third contracted company explained that they have been instructed never to tell Samsung a unit cannot be repaired, which is why no one wants to work on it. I asked Samsung what would happen if the unit were repaired and broke a third time, shortly out of warranty. Their answer was that I should "Try to be optimistic." I await Samsung agreeing to do the right thing and replace the lemon they sold me with a working washer.
