Recently our dryer began to malfunction. It was stuck in a mode that would not allow operation. I was convinced that it was a malfunctioning controller assembly and was prepared to purchase a new one from a third party vendor. I called Samsung customer service and was put into a chat. The chat sessions are extremely busy so you will almost certainly have to wait a while but they will contact you when your turn comes and if you miss the chat you stay in the queue and they circle back to you. During this chat I was informed of a feature of my dryer that I was unaware of - it’s wise to read the users manual. There is a child safety feature that somehow got turned on but once disabled the dryer is working again. Seven years and this was the first and only problem ever. I definitely recommend Samsung products and the fact that they have a 24-hour chat session available demonstrates their commitment to customer satisfaction.
