I purchased the highly anticipated Z Fold 4 on 11/12/2022 from Samsung's website for $2000.00. On Friday, 6/14/2024, the device developed a thick black line on the middle of the open screen, rendering it unusable. My phone had just completed an automatic update to the software system, and was working perfectly prior to this update. I immediately contacted Samsung Customer Service, and spent hours speaking with agents to no avail. Unfortunately, many of the agents were unable to communicate in understandable English, so my issue was escalated to a supervisor. Unfortunately, my case number was closed, not once but two times. The Samsung Z Fold 4 is a piece of worthless junk now, can be used as a piece of worthless art.
