The first thing to say is that I have been a loyal Samsung customer for the last 10 years. However, in the last few months, barely have I ever received such poor service from such a reputable company.
Firstly, I bought the new galaxy note 7. The exchange process for this took many a weeks and I was relayed between different teams numerous times and had to call on about 10 different occasions to reach anywhere. Then the phone got recalled. Again, I faced numerous delays and many phone and email conversations until I reached anywhere. Suffice to say, this case has been going on since the start of September (it is now mid-December), and I don't have the phone and nor do I have a refund yet.
But I am an understanding customer and accept things can go wrong (they evidently did with the note 7 and it was an unprecedented scale of an issue. Fine).
However, then I ordered two gear s3 classic smartwatches as part of a black Friday deal. One was shipped. One was not. Again, over 2 weeks later, and after many phone calls and email conversations, I am still left with only one watch and charged for the price of two. I would be understanding if one was shipped as soon as Samsung accepted that only one was sent. However, not the case and I have not been sent any information regarding the status of the order. And when you try calling to find out, only 'the superiors' know, but you can't directly talk to them.
Lastly, I ordered a s3 watch strap the day after I ordered the watches. It never came. This was in fact an issue with UK Mail (the couriers). It said it was signed for, even though nobody was in. After raising this issue with Samsung - who first accepted it was true and a refund will be issued, then said it wasn't - I am still left with no strap and the money out of my account.
I still believe Samsung make quality products. However, the service and structure of the online store is shambolic for such a large scale company. I must admit, the last person who I have been in contact with from the customer service team has tried to be very helpful. Nonetheless, EVERYTHING I have ordered from Samsung over the last few months has had issues and is taking many a months to resolve such basic issues.
