Do not buy a Samsung Tv becuase there standard warrants is a joke and not worth the paper it’s written on. They don’t automatically send an engineer out to establish what the fault is, they base it on a 10 second video sent through email, if the fault can’t be shown in 10 seconds then basically tough. If it’s sound related they will blame everything except the Samsung product so they can get out of sending an engineer. If you want to speak to a manager in the UK, it appears impossible as the company is now based in the Philippines. Our problem was with the sound quality from going really quiet to really loud and was very obvious on the short video but the customer service representative whom was based in the Philippines just kept repeating they couldn’t hear so no engineer would come unless we paid £150 for the call out and then repairs would be on top. I’ve always bought Samsung but there warranty and customer service will make me never, ever buy from them again, I’ve never had such a ridiculously bad experience with repairs using the standard warranty, they just don’t want to pay for an engineer. I was about to purchase another Samsung tv this week but will now be buying LG instead.
