I have always bought Apple but wanted a change and bought Samsung S9 from EE. 4 months on the phone froze after an update, couldn’t turn it off or use any function . Would appear to be common fault and the battery now heats upon charging. Took a day of work and visited the Oxford St service centre. After 2 hr wait got served to be told maybe they could fix it that day maybe not, as I couldn’t wait decided to visit on another day . Today took another day of work , went through the same process only to be told it may take 2 or 3 days to fix as there was a huge backup on phones waiting to be repaired. For me to take another day of work and visit again will cost me £300 in total loss of wages for the three days.
