Purchased a Samsung LCD TV from Curry's in 2004. In 2011 it developed a fault. Telephoned customer services who asked for the serial number and purchase date. Wasn't expecting much as the set was 7 years old - They arranged for an engineer to visit and rectify. Turned out to be the capacitors, and he told me that it would have cost £150 if I'd called him directly. Samsung footed the bill. Name me another TV company that stand by their products 7 years later..
