Bought a samsung galaxy S5 brand new and after 2 months charging point cover broke off ( down to flimsy design ) and noticed the phone developed issues with charging which meant the phone took longer and longer to fully charge. Eventually it stopped charging all together so called the Samsung repair centre to get it booked in for warranty repair as it was still less than 6 months old.
However they informed me that the charging point had cracked and there would be a charge of £92 to repair it.. Seems very unfair and points more to an issue with the phone and its design. Uncompromising .. Unhelpful .. And after using samsung phones for the last 8 years will definately not be replacing this one with another. If a star would be given it would be a 0 star rating as its a terrible service as you are in the hands of a repairer who can say whatever they want to and are expected to pay up or have your broken phone returned back to you.
