I bought a Samsung tv and installed it and turned it on immediately. It worked fine, but as a secondary tv we don’t use it often. Within a month I went to turn it on again and it wouldn’t work. The screen would just light up black. Called Samsung to warranty it and were told they’d get right back to us. They didn’t. We called again, upset, and a girl answered saying she would personally call within a week to let us know what was happening with it but that the case was originally closed because there was damage to the tv. Now we have no kids or animals, and it wasn’t touched in that month at all. But again, the week has passed and she didn’t get a hold of us. So after a little over 2 weeks we call again. They said they can’t do anything for us. When speaking to a manager he said the case can’t be reopened because it’s been closed, and they wouldn’t do anything to help us. We went out and bought an $1000 Samsung tv as a celebration for purchasing our first home and now we get treated like this. Poor service, poor product. Do yourself a favour and NEVER purchase a Samsung product.
