I was considering buying a Samsung freestanding washing machine.
I had a simple query re whether the top came off so that the machine would fit under a kitchen worktop, and if so whether a special kit was required.
I phoned their customer "service" number, but the person I spoke to had a very poor grasp of English and was totally unable to understand a) That I hadn't bought the machine yet and b) What the question was. He kept putting me on hold and then coming back and answering a completely different question.
Eventually he just cut me off.
Samsung, sadly this experience has tipped the balance between two machines I was considering, and the one I buy won't be yours ...... If the customer service is this bad before I've even bought the thing, I had to think what it would be like after I'd shelled out my money :(
