Drove 3 hours to collect a car. Due diligence done, RAC inspection, Registered dealer. Santander froze the payment and REFUSED to unlock it until THEY were satisfied. Who's bloody money is it?? 2 hrs later( despite them saying it could be next day) and alot of embarrasment I took my car home. The fact I stated on the recorded message I had carried out due diligence should be enough.
Changing mortgage after 15 years with them. No competitive quotes, moving to Natwest. Goodbye Santander 👋
