Zero compassion for mortgage holders
My mother is the sole carer for my elderly grandmother who has significant care needs. She has been struggling with repayments. Santander offered my mother no assistance such as a repayment holiday. Whilst she was abroad tending to another family emergency, they repossessed the house, she had no notice of the court proceedings. She paid what was outstanding and now they are asking for all of the monies owed. A horrible bank with no compassion, beware if you are ever on your face they will not help you.
