3 months ago Santander froze my account and they say are not at liberty to tell me why. The customer service is truly appalling, I have phoned several times and generally you are passed around from one person to another for up to 3 hours (that is my personal record) I have filed a complaint with the financial ombudsman but that takes time and meanwhile does not help with access to my money. I am truly shocked that banks are allowed to do this to their customers. It gives you little faith in financial institutions!
