I've used Scootaround many times but my most recent Boston-area rental experience was awful. I booked on-line and was called about an hour later by one of your reps. Ultimately, she canceled the contract because the Boston Marriott-Newton was 10 mi out of the delivery range. Then why did your website confirm my order? It turns out the delivery vendor was Scootaround-owned...so why didn't Scootaround approve the delivery? I even said I would pay more for delivery. However, I received a cancellation email. Then 2 weeks after having not received a credit on my credit card, I called. I was told because Scootaround canceled the scooter, the credit should have been processed within 48 hrs. It was but I've since received my credit.
