Absolutely appalling!!!
I have been with Scottish Power, and it's predecessor in my area Manweb, for decades. A year ago, I changed Scottish Power accounts to get a better deal. Over a year later, I still cannot submit meter readings because "my account is still in the process of being changed over."
Received a shock after a year as my monthly payments went up by almost £200!!! In a household with three disabled people, all on benefits, this was a hit we struggled to take.
Decided to change over to Octopus Energy after being treated like something left on the bottom of a shoe after you'd stepped in something. Scottish Power demanded a payment of £470.49 to clear my debit. I dug into my meagre savings to pay this just so I could escape the grasping claws of this completely inept company.
They billed me TWICE!!!
Called customer services and they said take it up with my bank. My bank said that Scottish Power should deal with it.
Called SP customer services again just now (12:15pm) and they are "closed"
Never, never, never use this company. You will get burned badly and end up losing a lot of money.
