This kilt is well designed with excellent weight and craftsmanship. While the Clan tartan is fundamentally correct the colors are more vibrant than what is traditional. I understand dye-making can create a variance in the appearances this makes it awkward when combining accessories such as preowned sashes. I have Clan tartan from four different kilt-makers and I admit they all have variance in vibrancy from each other. Considering the quality of the kilt purchased from ScottishKilt I would recommend one purchase their entire kit from this manufacturer to ensure quality and matching of pieces.
