I am mostly pleased with the custom kilt I ordered - the fabric is correct as is the elastic waistband (I have Parkinson's Disease thus find fastening a standard kilt very difficult); the fact that the kilt is a little too small I will address with a local tailor. (I had thought perhaps I had provided incorrect measurements, but I double-checked the measurements I provided and they were correct.) The process of receiving the kilt, however, was excruciatingly frustrating. I placed my order nearly 45 days before I received it; even allowing an extra week for the custom waistband, this was still 23 days longer than it should have been. Worse still, when I inquired about the shipment status, a staff member told me that it had been shipped when the USPS was notified of the impending shipment, but USPS records show a week's delay between notification and shipment. In all, I am not sure I will order any more kilts from Scottish Kilt.
