I recently received one of ScottishKiltâ€:tm:s tartan kilts. I am extremely happy with this kilt and for my purposes is just what I need. I ordered the standard 6 yd kilt in a synthetic material. I live in the Thai highlands and it is really too hot for most of the year to hike in the mountains in a full wool kilt and this lighter kilt is just great. Love it. In case some people might get the wrong idea, it is important to note that these are not hand stitched wool kilts. I am a kilt maker and have a number of wool kilts of my own making. This is a different beast to be sure, but well made. Machine stitched, of course, the tartan pattern was well followed and the construction quality very high. The hardware and leather straps ore very good quality and look great. Iâ€:tm:ll be ordering one more in a different pattern soon!
