I have a log burner that consumes large amounts of wood in the Winter. This battery powered chain saw (Origon CS300) is perfect for carrying in my truck and is instantly ready when the opportunity arises to obtain lumber. It's battery life is more than sufficient for me to cut enough wood to fill my truck and after a recharge enough to reduce the wood to logs when I get home. It's clean and quite and the resharpening feature saves a lot of time.
Not cheap but excellent value.
