Have purchased a coouple of itmes from local Screwfix shop that has just opened. I ordered and paid for the items on line and within a maximum of 5 minutes each time I had a text telling me my order was ready for collection. The staff were very friendly and helpful and within 5 minutes again of arriving at the shop I was waslking out with my new purchase. If there was one quibble its where you have to produce the bank/credit card you used to purchase the items on line at the shop when collecting. I think its for security purposes. No big deal but it means I have to collect in person and can't send anyone else. For instance my wife was in the town where Screwfix was located, and so I odered something and asked my wife to collect it. She had to open an account in her name then to be able to collect. But apart from that minor thing - excellent service and good prices!
