Never, ever use this company. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered two Laz-y-Boy leather armchairs and a sofa to match on May 23rd last year, the first day the shop reopened after lockdown. I was told it would be here beginning of September and it arrived in October. After a couple of months the sofa and one armchair became very uncomfortable and sagged, I sent photos to SCS head office at the beginning of January this year and someone eventually came to have a look on March 1st. I was told that new parts had been ordered for them and they would be here beginning of April, nothing turned up, then 17th May, still nothing. I sent another email and got a phone call saying definitely the following week, still nothing. This is now over 4 months since I first reported the fault and nothing has happened so I then said I wanted a replacement or refund. I was told I could choose new furniture so we want an ordered it on 8th June, another Laz-y-boy which I didn’t really want. Three weeks later I got a phone call saying that I could go and order new furniture and I told the lady on the phone we had done this three weeks ago, but she had no record of it. I heard nothing else and tried to ring back but when you call the shop number you get the head office in Sunderland, it is impossible to phone the actual shop. I held on for over 25 minutes with no answer so tried again later. After 15 minutes wait again I got through and was told they had no record of an order. I then visited the shop again and they still swear they had ordered it all so I asked for a copy of the order which was then written out by hand! When I got home and read the order there was no armchair on it so again I had to return to the shop as ringing them was useless. Nobody ever gets back to you or lets you know what is happening and nobody even seems bothered. I got really annoyed now and said I wanted a refund. I was told they would get back to me, yet again they didn’t. Eventually I got a call about a week later and was told I could have a refund. Out of the blue a week later I got a text saying they were collecting the furniture the following day and they would ring for my card details the next day, of course they never did. I rang them and was determined to hold on no matter how long it took to get my money back. after 30 minutes I got through and got a refund which I don’t believe I would have got had I not phoned them and insisted. Terrible, terrible company to do business with, avoid like the plague. If I could give them zero stars I would.
