I purchased a leather 3 piece suite in sept 2018, one arm chair was lop sided when arrived, but thinking it would settle after drivers comments it didn't so rang SCS customer helpline 30 days to advise it hadn't, was told it was too late to get a replacement so they sent out an so called upholsterer ( worked for SCS and looked like a salesman tbh) who changed the recliner mechanism, advised him that was ok so why was he changing it? it was the padding and frame that wasn't right and would like a replacement, he said ok and agreed, but went back to SCS and I was told he said it all was now ok ! he did this twice unbelievably, they then said for any more visits I would have to pay a 75 pound fee to basically be lied to again so i declined. The rest of the suite has not weathered well either, it is not heavily used as we are out at work all day, I called again today, but was told it only has a years guarantee cost me 3000 pounds, took out the insurance aswell to be told that's only for accidental damage, but I could pay 75 pounds to have an SCS upholsterer to come out to look at again. Please Please avoid using this company, I have a 4 year interest free plan and the suite will not last this long, I can honestly say I will be looking to replace this suite probably by the end of the year. save your money and sanity and go elsewhere seriously.
