I book with SATs because there are no added (expensive) surprises. The quality of the hotels and food is good enough - don't want to spend extra on deluxe when it's the sights that are most important. Want to be doing, not consuming. There is free time so I can following my particular interests - art galleries, theatre, concerts. If I have to skip a planned activity the guide understands. Really appreciated the full refund when Covid stopped latest planned trip. Other tour companies did not. Spent sometime with a friend yesterday that I introduced to SAT and who also enjoys them. We spoke about future trips and looked forward to it.
