I placed an order for an anniversary date on a Sunday so specifically chose somewhere that offered Sunday delivery. However, the flowers did not arrive on the Sunday and when I contacted them the next day I was told that the bouquet I'd ordered was out of stock. They said an email had been sent but I hadn't received one and I had checked my junk folder etc. They did offer either a full refund or replacement purchase but I guess the main issue was that I shouldn't have been able to buy something that was out of stock - the whole point was that they were delivered on the anniversary date. I also thought the fact that I still went ahead with a replacement order might have prompted an offer of some sort of discount, but no.
It's a real shame, as the website, choice of flowers, ordering process, emails etc are really good. But you've just got to get the main availability and delivery bits right.
