I recently purchased a 2017 BMW 218i Luxury Active Tourer from the Durham branch. During the negotiations, I was assured the car would have a service, to BMW specification with the computer updated, before I collected it. I have since discovered that the car was overdue a service when traded in and the previous owner had been assured that he need not have it done as they would take care of it. Their idea of a service is an engine oil and filter change. I paid £12,795 for this car and I will now need to take it to a BMW workshop to have the rest of the service completed. This will cost me about £300. The dealer principal at Durham, Stephen Petch, is not interested and passed my complaint back down to the sales advisor, Sharon Condron, who has no authority to resolve the issue. Very unsatisfactory and very poor customer service. Buy from this company with extreme caution.
