After having a problem in updateding my Navigation software and left scratching my head as to why the new downloaded maps from the Kia Navigation Updated would not "initialise" I was stumped. I called into my local SG Petch in Darlington and spoke to nice chap called Scotty. He seemed very knowlegeable of Kia's software and took my SD card I had updated and said he will look at it for me . A week later I called back in to see Scotty and he explained that the "2017 software (Maps)" I had downloaded may have looked suitable for my 2015 mk3 Sorento, but was conflicting with the software on my header unit within my car he had loaded the 2018 update and hey presto...the maps loaded onto my car. Id like to thank Scotty for is help and is certainly a credit to SG Petch Darlington branch.
