We had a very happy at the George Hotel Chollerford. The room was just perfect and comfortable. The food was high standard served by a happy band of waiting staff.
The leasure centre and swimming pool was the icing on the cake, for us, twice a day all week.
All that, in a lovely setting of well tended gardens, a credit to the gardeners.
The first Scout Lord Robert Baden Powell stayed at this hotel in 1908, if it was “good enough for him” it was perfect for us.
