For the first time ever ever ever, I purchased a digital movie online -- the online build-up for Star Games sank into my very being, so I took a chance. The download was easy, and the movie itself? All I can say is there wasn't enough Tony Curtis and his Bronx accent as a planetary monarch battling a wannabe Darth Vader. There were, however, plenty of laughs with the writer/director's two teen sons foiling some pretty stiff robot abductors. Mike, Kevin, and Bill make the trip hilarious, as usual. Given a choice of another Shout! Factory movie or a sumptuous lunch at my favourite restaurant, I'd definitely get the movie -- and some popcorn to watch it with.
