I purchased 800 signs (Various sizes) and stakes from SignsOnTheCheap.com on 1/12/2022. The total order came to $4,055.13. The products arrived 1-2 weeks later. Then, on 2/1/2022, I received a call from their Business Partner team. I was told that any orders over $1000 meet the criteria for discounts and asked if I'd like to become a business partner. I asked why i was not contacted right after the order was sent, but before the order shipped, to establish this relationship and discount. I was told that their system is 2-3 weeks behind so their department just received this information. I then asked if they would credit my account back what I would have received, and was told they could not do that. I told the representative that I would have rather not even had this call, because now I know what I missed out on. The next day, another team member (Jason) called me to follow-up on my dissatisfaction. He repeated the same things the lady did the day prior. When I told him I regretted receiving these past two calls, he told me that it is "common sense" that if you are placing a large order, that I should have called the number on the website first. When I explained to him that it is not common-sense like he thinks and that common sense would be a note on their website that should have said "For any orders over $1000 please call us directly for discounts", he doubled-down and told me that other people and business owners calla nd that I should have known to call. As a reminder, I didn't ask for any of these phone calls. About 30 minutes later I spoke to Gus(?) from their Customer Support team, who told me the Business Partner department is short-handed so they are behind, and that the website is 15+ years old so the "code makes it difficult to make any changes to the website." I asked to speak to the supervisor of the Business Partner department and was transferred, but it went t a voicemail. If this company has discounts for large orders, it should clearly state that and not "assume" customers, which are other businesses usually, know they should call to receive the discount.
