We have several of these cups, which we LOVE! They are great for taking on the boat, outside on the patio or just in the house in the hands of a six year old. However... if the liquid sits in the cup it starts to taste like silicon. Especially water. It fades a bit over time and a few washes, but it still happens with the ones we've had for over a year. If it wasn't for this, I'd give them 5 stars! :)
And the new silicon lids are AWESOME! Much better than the old plastic ones.
