I have used Simon Charles for over 15 years and at one time they were a brilliant auction house, unfortunately the online auction is a complete con and a sheer waste of anyone’s time I have bid yet again on 2 items which I was in the lead with until 30 secs before the end of the auction when somebody else bid (I suspect an employee ) when I tried to press to bid again it wasn’t possible this has been happening for months if not years now it’s basically because they haven’t taken enough on that product and that is why you see a lot of the same items going through week after week it’s a disgrace and shouldn’t be allowed
