Simple handrails are just that- simple and beautiful. I have an oak rail with pretty subtle brass fittings. The rail is smooth and comfortable to hold on to and looks perfect in an old cottage; similarly it would suit a minimal contemporary environment. I have ordered a second one in beech for another staircase. It has not been easy during the pandemic with reduced staffing etc but all calls have been answered and followed up. It is a shame that they use Tuffnels' delivery who are incompetent and rude.
