The rail is almost what I wanted. I did ask for it to be cut shorter, which was agreed but not done. I'm sure it was just a small oversight and we have cut it ourselves, so not a big problem.
The end caps do not go over the ends of the wood as I expected but fasten up to the ends. Overall it's fine & looks good.
