I suppose I was expecting too much, but I found that trying to identify the centre of the rail end was frustrating in the extreme, surely a simple template to go with the kit would be much easier.
Also, both rails had splits to the ends. One I managed to cut off without shortening it too much, but the other it too long to do that. So I am left having to fill the split with filler and hope not too many people notice it.
Why didn’t I complain? Because being a cynic I feel sure that the response would be that I had somehow managed to damage it myself. Pity, because the rails look good when fitted.
