The handrail was well packed and arrived as promised. Being stainless steel, it was heavier than I had anticipated, so took 2 of us to fix it. However, it came in 2 pieces which slotted together neatly. Within hours, my 95 yr old mother was able to use it to help her up and down stairs more securely.
Being an amateur, what I had not anticipated was the wall structure (plaster board) before ordering, but the purchase of some special wall plugs took care of that.
