I ordered a two-piece oak handrail to be delivered to my customers home following a replacement hip operation, so it was needed promptly. It took the full 10 working days & was missing some of the vital fittings when it arrived. This led to the need for a second trip to my customer 20 miles away! I expressed dissatisfaction, which took some days trying to make contact, but was pleasantly surprised when the missing parts arrived the following day & Dan offered me a very acceptable discount in all the circumstances. Customer reviews seem to show that the company are usually on good form but they seem to slip up a bit too often for customer comfort. The product itself proved very good but you need to be handy in fitting it as there are no pre-drilled holes for attaching any of the fittings. Would I use SimpleHandrails again? Yes, despite my misgivings. The rail & fittings were of very good quality & despite the unfortunate initial service, once I had made personal contact their customer service came up to the mark! They managed to make me happy!
