Quality of oak handrail and brackets were excellent. I was very pleased that the handrail was so easy to finish I just gave it rub with fine glasspaper and after only one coat of satin Wilco polyurethane varnish its good enough to install. I’ll probably add another coat or two. The brackets were very uniform in finish. Not cheap but as I will see in in my house every day I was more interested in the quality and “The quality remains long after the price has been forgotten “
