I asked for more information about a newer form of birth control. To help me decide what to do. Instead I was sent a prescription for it, no more information given. After two days, I was then told they didn't actually have it in stock. I had to try something else (again no information given other than drug names) or call around to my local pharmacies until I found one that had it (I ended up calling, and being put on hold with 6 different pharmacists). In the end, it would have been easier and probably safer to wait a month and a half to meet face to face with a doc and talk about birth control options.
