I have been slowly replacing halogen spots for LEDs and these work very well. A few problems with existing light fittings as the lights sometimes go out. If I turn on and off they all come on again so I think there may be a thermal trip problem with the modern fireproof light fixtures getting too hot compared to some of the older fittings in my house maybe? Customer services were helpful and replaced one of the bulbs to see if it was that but this didn't solve it.
