I have used Simply Shutters to install plantation shutters in my previous home, so naturally I called them again when I wanted plantation shutters installed in my new home. They came to install the shutters on January 24, 2023 and the installers did a horrible job in my bathroom. My bathroom windows have arches and Simply Shutters NEVER disclosed to me that they do not install shutters on windows with arches. I am not certain why they thought I only needed part of my windows covered, but more importantly I do not understand why their policy wasn’t made clear. One shutter was not installed straight and they cracked bathroom tiles around the tub in the process. I was initially told that I could get the tiles fixed and they would reimburse me my money; then I was told that the crack was there prior to the installation. Simply shutters sent someone to assess the bathroom on February 9, 2023 and I never heard anything from the company since that assessment. After multiple phone calls to the company and speaking with Steve the CEO, nothing has changed… I am still with cracked tiles and poorly installed plantation shutters in my bathroom. With that said, I have to take legal action to right their wrongs. As a repeat customer, I am beyond devastated by their poor service and lack of professionalism. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Simply Shutters to anyone. Save yourself the headache and hire another company.
