I ordered a sample box online and decided not to subscribe. I did not set up an account login as it was simply a single order. Subsequently I was bombarded with marketing emails without having subscribed - I managed to get these stopped.
Less than 1 month later my credit was charged as if I had subscribed. I had to write to hello@simplycook.com and demand a refund and the deletion of my credit card details. I also managed to get logged on to an account set up in my name by following a "Forgotten password" dialogue and cancelled all future deliveries.
I am very unhappy with, what I consider to be, the underhanded sales and marketing practices of Simply Cook.
