My wife and I had a terrible experience with this location. I rented a car from them and then returned it after hours before an early-morning flight. To ensure they knew it was coming back damage-free, I sent them an email confirming the time of my return and even took a video on my phone of me walking around the car and showing there were no scratches on the body.
A few days after I got home, the company claimed there was a scratch that would cost over $1,000 to repair on the door. That was the cost of my entire rental! I sent them screenshots from the video showing that door with no damage. They still insisted on charging me. I sent them the video. Same thing. I asked them to look at footage from the garage to see who caused the damage. They refused. It didn't matter to them that I was a longtime customer. They said I was responsible for damage caused up to 4 hours after the location opened the next morning -- meaning I was on the hook for whatever they did with the car even though it was the day after I returned it to their own garage.
Unbelievable. I will never rent with Sixt again. I can only hope this review prevents someone else from making the same mistake. Go elsewhere and rent with an honest business that treats its customers right!
