We ordered $102.00 meal through skip the dishes. It was my first time using the service. After an hour and several notices that the food was on its way, no food was delivered. I contacted the restaurant and the food had been picked up by the skip the dishes driver. When I contacted skip the dishes through chat they refused to refund my money to my card, offering “skip credit “ only. When I insisted the chat contact simply ended the chat. I continued to contact them through chat (4 times) until they finally did refund my money. I get that there are bad drivers who steal the food but a refund should be automatic when that happens. I’ll never use the service again.
