I was a little apprehensive ordering 80 something dollars of dice without having handled any metal dice in person.
That said, I regret nothing. The included pouch is fairly nice and the dice themselves are hefty and cool to the touch until you've warmed them up. Rolling these metal dice is a completely different experience and I don't think I could go back to acrylic dice easily.
The dice have a hearty clatter and don't travel nearly as far as a typical acrylic die, which is nice for a small space. I'm still trying to find a good rolling box that accentuates the lovely sound these dice make, but it's a good problem to have.
I believe my set is called Ice Kings Revenge, or similar, and they're quite easy to read. I haven't gotten a lot of hours in with them yet but they seem to have a good solid range of rolls.
Watch the d4s, they could literally serve as caltrops!
