I snuck around and got my husband some metal dice. I thought he would use them in our game where he is the DM. I figured if my character was to die by his hand at least I would buy the instruments of my demise. When they got here they were in their amazing case and gleamed. Now they sit on a shelf in full display mode because he wouldn't use them in fear of 1: breaking a table under their weight and 2: possibly scratching them. He loves them. He sets them behind his DM screen for every game, to gaze at lovingly.
