I was going to cancel my subscription with Sky as it was coming to the end. I wasn't going to pay the new fees. I contacted customer services to inform them of this. I was told that they would do me a deal as I have been with them for a long time.
I was paying £50 a month. The deal was going to be £39 a month. So, I agreed to stay with them. However, a couple of weeks later I got an email informing me that from April my bill was going to be £45 a month.
I rang customer services again telling them there isn't anything they can do about it.
After my subscription ends next time, I will go with another company. They haven't kept their end of the deal.
